Zefunot Culture introduced Natalie Yontov to its audience and awarded her a scholarship in 2011 and 2016.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1997 in Kfar-Saba, Israel, Natalie started her music education at the age of five with Raya Goldenberg. One year later she began her piano studies with Adela Umansky at the Kfar Saba Conservatory, and today studies for her B. Mus with Prof. Asaf Zohar at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel-Aviv University.


Natalie is a recipient of America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships since 2008. She also received scholarships from “Zefunot Culture’ in 2011 and 2016.
 

Natalie received 1st prize at the Pnina Salzman Competition in Kfar-Saba, and

2nd prize at the Chopin Competition in Tel Aviv.

At the "Piano Forever" Competition in Ashdod, Natalie received “special mention” awards.

She performs regularly in concerts and has participated in chamber ensembles - duo with various instruments and piano trios. She is a regular participant of  Israel National Chamber Music Events and has performed as a soloist with The Haifa Symphony Orchestra and with The Kfar Saba Conservatory Symphony Orchestra.

 

Natalie participated in masterclasses with Xioahan Wang, Antony Pay, Boris Kleiner, Menachem Wiesenberg, Boris Berman and Emanuel Ax.

She took part in a Jerusalem Music Center’'s summer course for outstanding pianists and chamber ensembles.

 

Natalie appeared in the Israel Education Channel’s  TV program "Intermezzo with Arik".

 

She currently serves in the Israeli Defense Forces as an Outstanding Musician.
