Lior Lifshitz was introduced to Zefunot Culture's audience and received a scholarship in 2017.
BIOGRAPHY
Lior Lifshitz was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. At the age of 6, he started studying piano with a local teacher. A year later, he continued his studies with Dr. Dror Semmel at the Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv (Striker) where he currently remains. Lior is in the 7th grade at the Arison Arts Campus school.
Lior has played as a soloist with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, The Ashdod Symphony Orchestra and with the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble. He performed solo at the Music Fest Perugia Festival in Italy with the Alicante orchestra from Spain. He was chosen to perform in the 70 years gala concert at the Israel Conservatory, Tel Aviv. He took part twice in master-classes with Murray Perahia, and in master classes with Prof. Alexander Tamir and Prof. Emanuel Krasovsky, Ilana Vered and more. He has also performed on live radio at the Eden Tamir Music Center in Jerusalem.
Lior won the third prize at the Piano Forever Competition in Ashdod (2014 and 2016) and first prize in 2015. He won the first prize”outstanding student” competition in the Israel Conservatory, Tel Aviv and is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship (2016) and Zefunot Culture (2017).
