BIOGRAPHY

The pianist Natanel Grinshtein is one of Israel’s most promising young musicians.

​

Among the many prizes and awards he has received: First prize at the "Primavera Pianistica" competition (Belgium), Second prize at the International Competition in Mayenne (France), Third prize at The Young Artists Competition in Jerusalem, Second prize in the national competition "Piano Forever" in Ashdod, and scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, Zefunot Culture Foundation and The Stern Scholarship.

Natanel has performed as a soloist with orchestras throughout Israel and overseas. Among them: The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra - IBA, Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, MusicFest Perugia Festival's Orchestra and the "Thelma Yellin" Symphony Orchestra.                 

He has taken part in master classes with renowned artists such as Murray Perahia, Sir András Schiff, Emanuel Ax, Garrick Olson, Sergei Babayan, Arie Vardi, Vladimir Tropp, Alexander Korsantia, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Pascal Nemirovski, and more. He participated in the "Tel Hai" master classes under the guidance of Prof. Emanuel Krasovsky and Prof. Jose Rivera.

Natanel began his studies at the age of five with Michael Kishinevsky. Aged 14, he started his studies in Dr. Michal Tal's Studio at the  Givatayim Conservatory. He continues his studies with Dr. Tal at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University.

 

He is a participant in the David Goldman program for outstanding young musicians at the Jerusalem Music Center, and has participated in chamber music ensembles under the supervision of Prof. Hillel Zori, Prof. Menachem Wiesenberg and more. He is a graduate of the "young piano" program, where he coaches today.
