Rotem was awarded a scholarship for studies at Berklee International Network in 2013 and Berklee School of Music in 2015.

BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Israel and currently based in the US, Rotem is a media composer, multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, flugelhorn, EWI & double-bass), arranger and educator. His most recent film score was May This Memory directed by Fernanda Frotté (2018), and he currently writes music for Velvet Green Music and other music libraries.

Rotem experts in orchestral, jazz, and electronic-hybrid scores.

​

Rotem performed and recorded with many artists including Ido Maimon, Jenny Penkin, Kobi Luria, Eti Romano and Salsa Groove. His musical expertise includes playing in diverse genres such as jazz, R&B, classical, Latin and world music.

​

Rotem is a graduate of Berklee College of Music as a Film Scoring major. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Rimon Jazz Institute (Israel).

 

Rotem won awards and scholarships by the Bracha Foundation, Zefunot Culture and Berklee College of Music and earned place on the Dean’s list for his excellent academic performance during his studies.
