Zefunot Culture assisted Yuli with his professional development and awarded him a scholarship in 2016.

Born in Russia in 1999 and immigrating to Israel in 2008, Yuli Bress commenced his piano studies with Asia Yampolsky at the age of 11. He remains under her tutelage at the Conservatory - Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

In the spring of 2015 Yuli received first prize at “The Golden Key” competition in Tel Aviv. He performed on an Israel Radio program on the “The Voice of Music” and on a program on Israel Television’s Channel 9.

In December of 2015 he was invited to audition for the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. On successfully passing the audition, he performed the “Rondo” from Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 as part of the Keynote series for school children. This took place in January 2016 in Tel Aviv.

Yuli took part in the Tel Hai piano masterclasses during the summer of 2016.
